Kathlyn 'Katie' Ortega

Hello! I am a third year PhD student working with Craig Lundstrom.

I study geochemistry, specifically pertaining to magma compositions and granite formation processes. I am also extremely passionate about pedagogy, with an emphasis on making Geology accessible and understandable to everyone using virtual and hands-on modeling of Earth processes.
