An endowment established in 2021 in memory of Jim Kirkpatrick (PhD ’72), a former faculty member, department head, and alumni achievement award recipient. The fund supports an annual award to a top Geology graduate student selected based on their performance on thesis or dissertation-related research accomplishments.
Donations are made available for current use, to provide unrestricted support for the Department of Earth Science & Environmental Change.
Donations are made available for current use, to support field education costs related to Geology courses. They may also be used for scholarships to defray student costs related to attending a summer field course.
