Andrew Guertin

Biography

I am a second-year PhD student in the Department of Earth Science and Environmental Change working with Dr. Jenny Druhan. My research focuses on water-rock interactions in the Critical Zone using Concentration-Isotope Ratio-Discharge (CRQ) relationships and Reactive Transport Modeling (RTM). My first project is utilizing the Landscape Evolution Observatory (LEO) at Biosphere 2 to investigate how stable metal(loid) isotopes relate to fluid flow paths in small watersheds.

Education

B.A. in Geochemistry, Washington University in St. Louis (2021)
