Research Interests

I'm a full-time Hydrogeologist at the Illinois State water Survey and a part-time PhD student working with Dr. Tom Johnson and Dr. Daniel Abrams. My dissertation research focuses on the hydrogeology of the Sandwich Fault Zone in northern Illinois using groundwater flow modeling, geochemical, and geophysical techniques. The goal of my research is to understand groundwater flow patterns around complex fault structures and assess how the fault zone impacts available water supply in the critically stressed Cambrian-Ordovician sandstone aquifer system.
