Overview: The Paleoclimatology Lab is focused on reconstructing past climates, and monitoring present climate conditions, through water and sediment analysis. The lab contains instrumentation, along with storage and preparation space for sediment and water research.

Instrumentation:

• 4°C cold room
• 2 fume hoods, dissecting microscopes, drying oven, muffle furnace, and centrifuge

• Malvern Mastersizer 3000 with Hydro MV
• Picarro L2140i water isotope analyzer
• Picarro L2130i water isotope analyzer
